Album of the year? Sky Blue Sky for sure with Hold Steady’s Boys and Girls in America a close second. Honourable mentions to Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse (Back in Black was actually released in the UK in ‘06 but whatever), Bright Eyes, Arcade Fire, and Iron & Wine’s best album yet.
